🌱 Our Beginnings ​🌱

I have owned pet rats all my life but Little Sprout Rattery didn't come together until 2017 after I had my first proper mischief of rats. While studying all things rat related on the internet, I found myself on breeder groups due to their up to date information relating to rat health and care; I wanted to know everything I could in order to understand and keep my pets happy and healthy. While absorbing all of the information, I also found myself learning more and more about proper rat husbandry, genetics, and breeding. But it wasn’t until I was trying to find a source to feed my love for more rats, I realized that our area of WV didn’t have any breeders nor any stores that carried healthy, well-bred rats... That is what planted the seed for Little Sprout Rattery! From then on, I was dedicated to learning all I could about the fancy rat and how to produce confident, sweet, healthy rats to those who also appreciate the fancy!
